The Omron NX7 Automation Controller is an enhanced machine controller which includes two synchronised motion cores controlling up to 256 axes.
Aimed at addressing the needs of the most demanding industrial control motion applications, the NX7 showcases the Sysmac core values of improving engineering integration time, system flexibility and overall performance.
As part of Omron’s flagship model, the NX7 offers enhanced speed without compromising reliability thanks to the Intel Core i7 quad processes and large memory capacity.

The new automation controller is designed to meet extreme machine control requirements in terms of motion control, speed and accuracy helping reduce machine cycle time and improve machine accuracy.
The NX7 controller integrates logic, motion, vision and information for complete control and management of machines. Position, displacement, and tension information collected from sensors can be quickly and easily fed back to the motion controller.

Synchronised Control
The NX controller offers synchronous control of all machine devices, from input through to output. Distributed clock-based clock synchronization incorporated into EtherCAT slaves enables the I/O refresh cycle to be synchronized between units such as the FH Vision System, ZW Displacement Sensor, NX I/O, and G5 Servo Drive.
